JANESVILLE, Wisconsin, October 5, 2009 – Data Dimensions, a second-generation privately-held company and recognized leader in business process optimization solutions and services, announced today it has begun construction of a new operations facility in Janesville, Wisconsin. The facility is expected to open in February 2010, initially employing 50 people, with the capacity to expand employment up to approximately 250.
“The addition of this 20,000 square foot facility will significantly increase our operations capacity, enabling us to better serve our clients, meet the demands of the continued growth we are experiencing, expand our workforce, and continue to contribute to the community,” said Mark Bush, Chairman. “Although initial employment numbers will be around 50, we are building the facility with the intention of filling it.”
The facility will be located next to the company’s headquarters in Janesville’s Midlands Office park near Interstate 90 and Highway 11 and will house a state-of-the-art Tier 3 data center, capable of withstanding an F5 tornado. President and Chief Executive Officer, Jon Boumstein stated, “This new Tier 3 data center combined with Data Dimensions’ recent acquisition of Olim Technologies Group will enhance our operations capabilities and provide us great opportunities to expand our services in the enterprise content management market, further differentiating us from our competitors.”
Data Dimensions teamed with local Janesville firm, Angus Young Associates, for the design and architectural work. Corporate Contractors, Inc. of Beloit, Wisconsin is the project’s general contractor.
