Data Dimensions, an innovative leader in business process automation, has been named the 2016 Business of the Year by Forward Janesville.
Data Dimensions has been based in Janesville since the early 1980s, and though it has since expanded with facilities in Iowa, Kentucky and Florida, its focus remains in that city. Janesville is where the company’s global headquarters are located, along with a production facility and document storage facility. In 2016, Data Dimensions will add to its Janesville presence with the construction of a 23,000 square-foot facility for the storage of government records.
Forward Janesville, which leads private sector economic and community development efforts, chose Data Dimensions for the Business of the Year because of the company’s “business growth, creation of jobs and its role as a strong steward of our community.”
“Data Dimensions has set the standard high for giving back with community development initiatives that encompass financial and in-kind contributions, even involvement through sponsorships and participation and employee engagement,” the group said. “Many local nonprofit organizations have benefitted from the generosity of Data Dimensions and its employees.”
Jon Boumstein, Data Dimensions President and CEO, said being named Business of the Year is a proud achievement for Data Dimensions and reinforces the company’s connection to its community.
“Data Dimensions has been part of Janesville since its beginning, and our strong link to the city and its people is a major factor in our continued success,” Boumstein said. “This recognition from Forward Janesville means a great deal to us, and it will inspire us to continue our efforts to increase our community involvement.”
